Because it's your turns (allll of you) to help me create a character for one of my stories! ^___^ Feel free to go with whatever your gut tells you! I'm up for anything, absolutely anything! The story will be for a novel (two, actually, or one, depending on how it goes), but I'm having a lot of trouble developing her.
****
Her name is Addie, and she's around seventeen-eighteen years old. Addie is a strange girl with an obsessive love for storms. Any storm, be it thunder, twister, or hurricane. A reputed risk taker, she has to be out in whatever storm comes her way, feeling the rain lashing on her face, the wind whipping her long hair, her clothes being pulled about in the gales. She also likes rapid rivers and great, surging waterfalls, and watching the waves crash in the surf on the beach. But she stays away from calm water… still lakes and ponds, softly falling rain, these hold no interest for her. It’s the passion and mystery of the tempest that she loves.
Her family has long since ceased trying to stop her… except when a storm is so bad it’s life threatening. For even if the trees are being pulled out by their roots, Addie won’t budge, her eyes transfixed on the skies. She has no friends, her odd ways having driven off everyone, and is known mainly as “the Storm Girl”.
One day, while out reveling in a particularly strong storm, Addie spots a figure on the mountainside, on a deserted outcropping known as Hanger’s Jut (feel free to help re-name this, too). It’s a young man, his cloak streaming behind him like a banner in the high winds. His head is slightly tilted down, his arms hanging at his sides… but then he raises his head to look at the roiling grey skies, and lifts up his arms. In that moment, the storm intensifies, forcing Addie to shield her eyes and hang onto a nearby tree to avoid being blown over. The sudden intensity ends as abruptly as it started, and when Addie looks at the mountain again, the young man has vanished. Addie knows that he can only be a Storm Sorcerer… and immediately, she craves his power. The power to create a magnificent storm, anytime, anywhere. More than anything, it’s an urge to find him… a strong pull, stronger than she can fight.
The next day, she heads off into the mountains, determined to find the sorcerer. Her sister, Ame (ah-may), expresses the selfish wish that she never come back, so the people would stop treating her like the trash her sister was and she could start getting some respect. Addie doesn’t care. The sorcerer and his storms are calling to her.
The thing is, as brave as she is confronting the storms, Addie doesn’t have much experience in other types of rough situations. And being in the mountains alone for days sure is rough.
On her fourth day up there, Addie slips on some rocks and is about to fall into a deep chasm, from which she most certainly would not be able to return. However, her fast descent is abruptly halted. But there’s nothing that’s stopping her from falling! She comes to the realization that it is in fact a strong eddy of air, constantly swirling beneath her, that has stayed her fall. At the same moment, she sees a young man standing at the lip of the chasm… a man with a long cloak, fluttering in the wind like a banner.
His name is Sorrosen, and he was the sworn servant of the Storm Queen. Somehow he managed to stay youthful, healthy and alive for 50 years…. That’ll be figured out later.

So that's all I got for the story so far. Know why? Because the rest depends on Addie's character (and Sorrosen's too, for that matter). And she has none yet! So please help me! I'm BEGGING YOU. Anything!
All right, get your thinking caps on!

I don't know...maybe since she hasn't really ever had friends before she has a really strong urge to be close to Sorrosen so she like latches to him, always looking for his approval but generally saying the wrong things at the wrong time due to her lack of social skills.
