video game addiction

Oh, I for one think it's true... I believe one can become obsessed with anything to the point where it resembles or actually becomes an addiction.

Yeah i agree with Gin, Anything can be an addiction, But on this particular topic i think addiction to video games is true. There has been countless times i've played a game religiously untill the point of 100% completion (Final Fantasy's etc) On because i game alot on 360 i like to go for achievements too so yeah, I think it's true.

with me i look in to the logistics and such

i meen i look at video game addiction to be true for kids mainly (5-12 yrs old)

but as for adult it varies

cuz if u can constantly play vg all day or a specific game all day no job etc,etc

then yes

but if u have a job and actually go out and do other thing and play vg on your free time

then no its not

i look at it as a way to blame someone for not doing anything when there is nothing to do or to think of

more or less

with that statement it also about as legit as marijuana addiction i meen yea

u can say "MJ addiction" is real as "VG addiction" cuz it a mental addiction not a physical

but honestly a mental addiction is not really even a addiction is a choice of life or it could be they are depressed eventually they will come out of it when something big that they need or love dies or walks out

its destroyed most lives and has prolly killed many

There has been alot of times i rang in ill for work to stay home and play Halo 3 online
