Besides the comical video, video games have a great educational value that many people don't see. I learned a lot of vocabulary, mythical lore, and history from non-educational video games. Small example: I learned the term 'Zealot' from StarCraft when I was 9 years old.

actually psychologically and physically video games in general not only help with hand-eye coronation but they help with logical and tactical thinking for thoes who use it

also with as u guys said the vocabulary and such are also used

but the video ehh it was a spoof

not to go a lil off subject, but personally with cross referencing, its better to teach our kids (no matter were we live) self defense and such for future reference if or when they will need it

but hinestly i dunno about all this apocolys buissness but yea game actually get kids ready for fightign when or if they need it

cuz i remember way back in my teens and liastioning to this elderly man the was prolly in ww2,well he was saying that essentually every game out there that is like doom, duke nukem, quake, etc, etc are basically teaching people what "he" learned in basic, unfortunatly hes agenced violent video games.

Sounds like we're all on the same page here. Video games can help you learn critical thinking, tactical analysis, deductive reasoning, and much more. And all these idiots out there who say that video games are making people violent need to be checked into a looney bin. Violent video games did not cause the Columbine Massacre. Any person who would mass murder people for their religious beliefs is either a complete nut-case or an ancient Roman.

"There's so much comedy on television. Does that cause comedy in the streets?" - Dick Cavett, mocking the TV-violence debate

Video games have taught me that pretty much every doors lock will be broke and that no chainsaw, rocket launcher of fire axe will ever knock that door down. . . grrrr!

lol

only in a video game it does that

in real life the door would have been evaporated by the rocket launcher or cut in half by the chain saw
