Watchmen is set in 1985, in an alternate history of the United
States where costumed adventurers are real and the country is edging
closer to a nuclear war with the Soviet Union; throughout the books,
the Doomsday Clock is shown gradually ticking towards midnight. It
tells the story of a group of past and present superheroes and the
events surrounding the mysterious murder of one of their own. Watchmen
depicts superheroes as real people who must confront ethical and
personal issues, who struggle with neurosis and failings. This is what
the real world would be like if there were heroes. And how the real
world would be affected.

In this rp, the heroes will be challenged with coming back into the public eye in a world against masked vigilantes, in order to uncover the mysterious murder of exwatchmen The Comedian. Another challenge is the growing threat of the world entering a nuclear war with the Soviet Union, and Doomsday Clock clicking down to midnight.
This will be our version of the Watchmen, as if the previous ones didn't exsist.

Personality: Strong willed, great sense of justice, caring, strong leadership.

Background: Andrew Riker was a shy, inward person all through his life.
Until the age of 23, where something amazing happened to Andrew. Andrew
was working part time at a local power plant. He went to check on power
coils that had been reported disfunctional. Andrew was one of the only
people working that night. As Andrew approached the coils, the door to
the room slammed shut and locked. Andrew struggled with the door, as
the coils activated. The coils sent shockwaves through Andrew's spinal
cord, up to his brain. Causing his entire brain to kick into full gear.
Unlike any human, Andrew now had access to his entire brain, unlocking
the human brain's full potential. Andrew now could control object wth
his mind. Including himself and everything around him. Andrew later
suffered through a family death by the hands of a criminal. Andrew
decided he must use his gifts to help others, and became a masked
vigilante. He later started a group of heroes known as The Watchmen.

3. These super heroes are mostly retired, coming back again. SO keep them in the 26-30 something range.

4 DO NOT MAKE YOUR PERSON INVINCIBLE!! Keep your super powers limited!!
1 to 2 powers are enough. Like you cant lift of a building, thats just
dumb.
5. Like I said, these are mature characters. So keep them that way.
