I know that the people on here actually have lives that take up much of their time and energy. However, it doesn't take much to participate in an RP; just a few sentences at a time will do the trick! What I would like to know is, has general interest in RPing as a whole waned around here? Do people feel like they don't have time to compose a decent post? Or is there just not a great interest in the RPs we've already got going? I'd really like to know, as I don't want this section of the forum to just die off and lay here rotting like a raccoon carcass in the middle of the street. Not a pleasant sight, you know? Plus, I feel like RPs should be accessible for everyone in different ways, and I'd like to know if that need is being met. Is RPing becoming more of a drag than of a fun creative outlet? Or, just generally, why are people being so reluctant to RP?

Please answer as you would, because I for one would truly like to know how people feel about this. While it's certainly not the most pressing issue in the world, it still saddens the creative side of my soul.

I've found I have little time to dedicate to making a decent post. I lik to think a lot about my posts and about the direction that they're going to send the RP, or at least my character in.

If it was just a few sentences, I may be more inclined to post them.

I guess what would make me post more would be a less involving RP (or just a less involved character lol) where I don't need to spend too long wondering about what to type and what effect it would have on the story.

Honestly, I haven't been that in to RP lately, but if it means that much to you, I'm sure I could find one that interests me enough!!
I remember at an old forum I was a member at, there was .Hack roleplay and that took really well and a lot of members participated...maybe I should start one up!? :]

Do whatever you see fit, Gin. And I'm not that familiar with the .Hack universe, but if you wish to start one I will do my best to familiarize myself with it.

So if I'm reading this right, it's that people are willing as long as it is interesting, yet not too involving and does not require much thought or time. Correct?
