I'll edit my post when I think of more, but for now...
Daybreak's Bell, by L'Arc en Ciel.
Ash Like Snow, by the brilliant green
Friends, by Stephanie
Heat Capacity, by T.M.Revolution
Also, for Dir en Grey, I'm gonna have to say Marmalade Chainsaw.. I haven't heard that song in ages, but it was one of the first J songs I listened to, and I liked it!
Oh and there are just too many songs by Pierrot to mention.. chances are, if you come across a song of theirs, I'd probably recommend it. Some to name are:
--Celluloid
--Adolf
--Nounai Moruhine
--Dracula
--Sepia
--Eco=System
--Twelve
--Oni to Sakura
--Aoi Sora no Shita
--FINALE
--Far East ~Tairiku ni Mukatte~
You get the idea.. I'm a big fan of theirs!

Closest thing I know to Asian music is the original songs of Final Fantasy (namely X and X-2) and Kingdom Hearts, so I'm with Pyro on saying I know diddily squat myself.

Well, I'll download all of the suggestions this weekend (when I get my new video card), but until then my broken comp is an excuse to get out my CDs and blast my stereo.

Ooooh looking interesting...I would say I know 'diddily squat' about Asian music too if I wasn't scared of looking desperate for a gold star. Which I'm not. Gold stars mean nothing to me...nothing I tell you...
*sobs quietly into pillow
Anyway...I'll check out all this music when I get the chance, always looking to broaden my horizons!

if you want j-rock i would defiantly recomend Alice nine or An cafe or The Pillows ^_^
i love all of their songs..... except the new an cafe songs were bou is no longer there...... I HATE THE KEYBOARDIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >.>.....
but yhea *chough* if you are interested in some korean music though i would highly recomend some rap wither from Epik high, MC Mong, or Cho PD. i doubt you would like pop but the world record for biggest organized fan group is for a korean boy band known as dong bang shin ki or DBSK or DBSG or TVXQ or to vho xhin qi ect..... they have too many names.... lol but yhea.
and some good ballad/pop songs come from JJ lin/ Jin jue lin
