Totally, I can't wait to see Gackt in this movie, it sounds like it will be really cool! And if he's speaking english... *shivers and melts* dreamy! lol And ditto, same here! *makes note to try and find Moon Child at AWA this year*

AWA is "Anime Weekend Atlanta"
Oh my goodness, tell me about it! I've seen youtube vids of various Jrockers speaking english, it's SO funny, but I don't think I've seen the clip you're talking about, please post it! xD
And by the way, these days, Gackt's english isn't all that bad! ;D

Re: Favorite Asian Bands/Solo Artists
yuh Bunraku sounds like it's gonna be awesome x3
But nooo I haven't been to a Jrock live yet -cries- I wanted to go to the Taste of Chaos tour (Desray is my second favorite band ><) but had no one to take me.
ehh I've considered going to Ayabie's live in Baltimore just to buy some of their tour goods and get autographs and then sell them (I don't personally like them very much lol way too happy). And I could use the extra money, but it's probably more hassle then it's worth =_=
And besides, I'm like a really die hard gazerock fan and I really badly want my first concert to be them ><

Re: Favorite Asian Bands/Solo Artists
Hehe Cel, stuff like that happens to me all the time, hope you find it! xD
Awww, momo, best of luck, I hope you'll get to see The GazettE live for your first concert! I kind of wanted to see the Taste of Rock too, but I couldn't make it T_T
I really wanted Diru to be my first concert, it didn't work out that way, but I did get to see them when they played in Atlanta, the time of my life I tell you, I was so close to the stage (for most of the concert)!
Gackt is amazing, cute, sexy, dreamy, everything awesome! With him at the head of the pack, there is nothing to stop Japan from taking over the world! *insane laughter*

Re: Favorite Asian Bands/Solo Artists
Honestly, I'm afraid to go to a Jrock live here in America haha o-o I don't want to get killed >< I've heard horror stories -exaggeration- of concerts here, especially for the harder bands like Diru and the TOS tour. But I suppose if my friend can survive a Diru one (she's smaller than me, 4'11" and I'm 5'3") then I can survive one too x3
But I really hope gaze comes here soooon T____T I don't think they'll come this summer because they have the GAZEROCK festival coming up in the summer (I wanna go so bad =_=) but when they do finally come here, even if it's all the way on the other side on the country I'm going to go. But I just really hope they don't become part of the Jrock Revolution for that (I hate that whole thing with a burning passion).

Re: Favorite Asian Bands/Solo Artists
aha yeah it's actually Manda, she's 4'11" x3
Ah I'd be so mad at my parents if they booked a holiday during a live which made it so I couldn't go like that. I probably wouldn't talk to them for a long time (if it was a gazetto live anyways). Yuh and pavan almost didn't make it to the Anttikku live either >< Her mom changed her mind about it at the last minute if I remember correctly o-o
But you people in Europe are so lucky =_= Jrockers love it there more than here in the states haha

Re: Favorite Asian Bands/Solo Artists
Lol "Horror stories" might not be that big of an exaggeration! Lol Nah, I went to see Diru so I can say for a fact that it got a little wild, but I didn't die, maybe it's because I'm kinda used to it?
I was just seriously dehydrated (didn't drink enough water before the concert) my feet were -killing- me, not so much because of standing and dancing, it was more so due to people standing and jumping on my feet! x_x It was really hot, and me wearing my corset only made it that much worse. And the people were just pushing and shoving and jumping on your back and trying to knock you down or put your lights out if it meant getting closer to the stage.
lol Kinda sounds like a horror story doesn't it? It was a rough, but once you got so into the music and band and the crowd was happy and flowing together then it was all good!
I hope you get to see The GazettE dear, best of luck! And wow, why do you have JRock Rev with a burning passion? O_O;;
Oh my goodness, schedule a holiday trip during a concert, I'd have cried the entire time... lost in a word of darkness and sorrow and rage. That kind of happened to me once actually... though it was a business trip rather than a vacation, it got canceled like the day before, and because of it, I missed the D'espairsRay concert in Florida, I was CRUSHED!! I never really got over that.
But anyway, I love An Cafe, their so cute, I wish I could see them live!
lol tell me about, they don't show the states enough love (at least not MY state lol) when they do come here it's usually to California, Texas, or New York or something far away from me. ~_~ Sulk with me momo, sulk with me.

Re: Favorite Asian Bands/Solo Artists
JRR just sucks....a lot.
I strongly dislike fake/crappy fans and I bet about half the American fans don't truely like the music. For like Dir en grey, they just listen to it cause it's harsh, I bet most of them can't even pronounce Die's name right, and most probably haven't listened to their older music or anything like that.
And JRR just opens the opportunity for more crappy fans.
Plus, maybe it's just me, but I prefer Jrock being more out of reach here, it gives me something that I really have to work towards you know? I don't want it to approach itself to me.
And then you have the Tainted Reality and Tainted World (yes they're 2 seperates things it's totally retarded that their names are basically the same), I can't tell you exactly how much I h.a.t.e Roger (from TR), I'd be so much happier if he kept his ass offline. He needs to go....yeah =___= and no I'm not just saying that because he absolutely hates the GazettE lol ;>> and Tainted World, omg I hate that forum I can't stand it, it's sooo Americanized, a lot of people have like sex-related jokes in their signatures and blegh. And the names "Tainted Reality" and "Tainted World" are just incredibly...average lol =_=
A lot of websites have names like that, an adjective and then a noun, it gets sooo old. I'll admit my graphic site is in that format but at least it's original: disOrdered☆foRtunE, it's not boring like Fallen Paradise, Lost Memories, Silent Tears, and so on.
But yeah my rant could go on and on and on ;>> So I'll shut up xP

Re: Favorite Asian Bands/Solo Artists
Hahahaha, those are some very strong feelings my dear! Honestly, I can see you point, especially about the crappy fans, they can be a real pain in the you-know-what, I do my best to just ignore them, but yeah they kind get under my skin, they really don't care enough to feel the depth and beauty and pain of what they try to give to us. I just roll my eyes and hope that one day they'll cross over and become real fans.
Just a side note... I LOVE Diru's older songs, even though at times I feel like their new songs are getting a little "KORN"y or something lol, I still I love the music they make now, I appreciate their growth and respect their change. But I'll always always have a deep love for their older music, it's what I started with, it's what I fell in love with. Like GARDEN when they were in dresses.
Sometimes I miss the old days.
Anyway, enough of my stroll down memory lane... I understand what you mean by wanting JRock to be out of reach, I agree and yet I don't at the same time... you don't want it to be so open that anybody that doesn't know or care can just stumble into them, yet I'm glad that people are bringing these bands over here for the true fans that can't afford to fly to Japan ever time one of their 20 favorite bands are doing a live.
I've never dealt with either of these Tainted places lol, but I am on the JRR forums, I don't post much, but all my Tofu Records gals crossed over to there and so did I, I like it mainly just so I can keep in the know.
Let me say one thing, I hope Roger keeps his distance from you, I'd hate to see what you'd do to the guy XD Wth does he hate The GazettE? They rule, how can you have them? D:
Yay for rantings! xD
