For avatars, only one image can be displayed at a time, its width cannot exceed 150 pixels, the height cannot exceed 200 pixels, and the file size cannot be higher than 64 KB.

As for sigs, they must not stretch the page or their alloted space;
They must not be too large in file size, so as to slow down forum browsing too much for those with slower internet connection speeds;
They must not be vile in nature. This includes depicting anything deemed offensive, such as sex or violence, or.. to be blunt, disgusting images that fall into neither of the previous categories but are designed to be gross. An example would be sweaty fat men in tight spandex leotards. And yes, this has happened before.

2. No Tolerance For Bullies
If anyone is caught being abusive, bullying another forum member or generally being unpleasant towards other users, their behaviour will be investigated and they may possibly be booted out. No warnings, no second chances. It's a serious offence and we won't allow it here. Anyone who thinks they are the target of this kind of behaviour should PM an Admin (Akkarin or Celahir) and we will deal with it.

3. Swearing/Cursing
Some degree of swearing/cursing is acceptable.. but please don't take this to mean you can constantly swear in all of your posts. There are also certain words you can't say on this forum; those words are namely the vulgar/sexual kind of swears. There's no need to be nasty to get your point across, or swearing for the sake of swearing.

4. No Pornography
Well, we were able to go for a year without needing to put this one in, but I guess it was gonna end up here in the end; thanks to common sense failing in it's battle with stupidity, The Lunar Court hereby announces that no user is allowed to post pornography onto the forums. Just in case you needed to be told that.

5. Warnings and Bannings
If anyone has broken any of these rules, unless otherwise stated (or under special circumstances) they will receive a warning. After 3 warnings, the offender will be banned from the forums. Warnings and bans are appealable, but only to a member of staff, and only privately via PM. Failure to follow these protocols will result in a waiving of the right to appeal; i.e. don't argue over a warning/banning in the public forum. If anybody notices anyone breaking any rules, please report the post with the report button; all reports will be treated with confidentiality.

Note, The rules are subject to change without notice, if I feel it is needed. Hopefully it won't come to that, and this should be enough.
