Let me tell you the twisted tale of my birthday... lol

All of these birthday wishes were a day early? I find that amusing because I received (and ate a slice of) my cake on the 11th, my family sang happy birthday to me (extremely off key, it was hilarious) on the 11th, I received my gift from them ($100 yeah baby) on the 11th... and had my birthday dinner on the 11th too. I just said 'forget waiting, I might be dead tomorrow, I want it all, and I want it all right now!' O_O;;

And then the next day, my REAL birthday, I was busting my butt, working non-stop, making a thousand phone calls, all work related. And I thought to myself, 'This is so wrong, I was supposed to be eating, sleeping, and playing j-music all day.'

But I did get a lovely group hug with the family, it was very tender, and made me very happy.

My cake was (and still is, not even halfway done with it) great! It was quite big, chocolate, with chocolate frosting, and the words were written in white icing. Not only did it have my name on it, it had the names of all my dolls on it... and Tora's name too, just as I requested! XD And it's so tasty~!

And indeed Momo, it was super sweet! You should ask your family to get you a cake like that... or maybe... you secretly buy a frosting kit and decorate the cake as soon as it enters your house? O_o;

Woot! I got late B-day gifts from the family... they've promised to take me to see Hellboy 2 (YAY!!) and possibly even that Journey to the Center of the Earth movie (I think that's what it was called xD)

Also, they got me a super expensive mat cutter (Omg yay, sharp things!! sit back and watch my slice my fingers off!!) and like $50 worth of mat, to be cut with the mat cutter! Plus a bunch of other little goodies from the craft stores, including something I've always been wanting... a tiny little 4x6 portfolio it's sooooo precious and it can fit in my purse!! <3

Pluss I bought myself some spray in hair color (I've sprayed a portion of my bangs silver, looks great!) and a lovely finger-ring from Hot-Topic... which I got on sale, SCORE, good things come to those who wait!

And for anyone that cares... two days ago, Yuki (my Dollshe Hound doll) turned a year old! He's looking just as beautiful as the day he arrived! I can't believe it's been a year already, I love you Yuki! <33

lmao I'm not aloud to see the cake when it enters the house XD They always make me hide haha

It's always good when you get stuff on sale, especially at Hot Topic (everything's so overpriced there Dx)

LOL really? You can't see the cake when they bring it in? No wonder! My mother usually comes to me and asks "What do you want your cake to say this year?" it's never really a secret, and even though every now and then they surprise me, they never make me run and hide. XD

Oh yes, I -live- for a sale, I'm not lying! I'm so happy, I've been eyeballing these rings forever but didn't want to pay the full price. And OMG yes yes yes, Hot Topic needs to be slapped for all of these overpriced items... I mean really, I saw a little fingerless glove/armwarmer thingy... cheap as hell, falling to pieces as I sit there and stare at it... but they tag said nearly $20 and I nearly had a heart attack! I could make the same thing (at a better quality) for a dollar! *ranting, if you hadn't noticed*
