Book suggestions

Post by Akkarin on Sat Mar 01, 2008 6:57 pm

It occured to me that I don't need to make a monthly suggestions thread! In this thread here, we will have all book suggestions.

I will simply decide, after a few suggestions, which book we read for March, and the books that aren't chosen can be put into order for the next months.

Also, just a reminder that the books you suggest don't have to be specifically ones that can be dissected. Even just a fun book that'll lead to enjoyable, shallow discussions is fine. Smile

And with that, I give you... my suggestion!! A classic:

Around the World in Eighty Days, by Jules Verne

It would also help, when you post, to let me know which suggestion you like the sound of. That will help me decide which one to choose for the month's reading.

How about 1984 by George Orwell.

I love distopia books.
