All the manga that I own (so far) come from Viz and Tokyopop... I used to have a subscription with Shonen Jump, but I traded and subcribed to Shojo Beat, for a change of pace.

But I don't prefer one company over another, it's all about who has the manga title that I'm obsessed with at the time.

I usually end up with SJ because it's about two dollars cheaper than the others but, other than the price factor, the companies don't affect my choice in manga.

RISE FROM THY DARK AND DANK GRAVE, YE THREAD OF OLDE.

I agree with Gin. I don't really care about the publisher or even the price (okay, sometimes I do), as long as the they have the title that I want. Smile The last few times I went to the bookstore, it was TokyoPop. But I've also got stuff from Viz, and one from Dark Horse.

I expect my repertoire will expand once I get a job and a steady income.... Of course, that's assuming that I won't have many other things to pay for that take precedence. Very Happy

Ummm, Dark Horse does regular comics. They did Hellboy and Dark Empire and a few other cool ones. Have they done manga too?
