Anime Vs Manga

Post by Reiko on Tue Feb 17, 2009 2:33 am

Do you prefer the experience of reading a manga, creating the voices in your head and reading it at your own will and pace, or watching the action fold out right in front of you as an anime!?

Personally for me, it's manga cause I find in a lot of manga to animes, they miss out a lot of subplots and details!! >=(

P.S Oh tarnation! I clicked the wrong thing , I meant to click Manga in the poll ;___;

I prefer both in a way...but i voted for Anime because reading makes me really sleepy.I watch alot of Anime in subs but reading a manga makes me so sleepy.

Manga is more detailed and has alot more to it Smile

I picked manga! It's portable, usually a lot more detailed plot\character-wise, and there's nothing like being able to hold that book-like format in your hands. ^__^ *was once a bibliophile*

Hard choice, I enjoy both just as much.. but I'll give my vote to Anime because I've watched more then I've read Manga. I've seen all the the FMA Anime, I own the first 4 volumes of the Manga and so far it has been less detailed then the Anime. I'm sure it's not like this for most series though.

This guy I talked to in a media store a few years back actually said that FMA is one of the rare exceptions in that it goes into more detail in the anime than in the manga.

...I'm not sure WHY I remember it, since it's not really that important and normally I have a memory like a cheese-grater, anyway.

I see, I also watched all of YuYu Hakusho and read some of the Manga.. the Manga seemed to be more detailed.
